Macarena de Castro

One of the prides of this island is to have one of the best chefs in Spain and the world. Maca de Castro is a Michelin star awarded chef. She has her restaurant of the same name in Puerto de Alcudia and has just opened another one in Palma this summer.

It is called Andana and is her new restaurant in Mallorca. It is located in Plaza de España next to the old train station in Palma. Their dishes are simple and made with the best sustainable ingredients in Mallorca. All Andana‘s raw materials are seasonal from her own garden in Sa Pobla.

In the menu you can find typical dishes such as trempó, cocas, entrepanes, tamboril de cuchara. Her favorite dish is roasted eggplant with tahini sauce. Without doubt it is one of the best restaurants in Mallorca that will make you enjoy a lot

Béns d’Avall Restaurant

Another of the best restaurants in Mallorca is Béns d’Avall. It is located on the road to Deia near the village of Soller. No doubt you will live a unique experience there.

They have been in Béns d’Avall since 1971 defending the Balearic cuisine in a natural, healthy and very creative way. The chef Benet Vicens and Catalina Cifre welcome you to this magical setting in the middle of the woods in the Sierra de Tramuntana. In the Béns dÄvall you will enjoy some wonderful dishes on its elegant terrace. As I said at the beginning, in Mallorca we enjoy incredible sunsets, the one here is undoubtedly one of the best.

It seems as if the terrace joins the sea and the depth and colors wrap you up in a dreamlike sunset. The tasting menu is tremendous, all based on local products with a brutal creativity and combination.
