Exemplary women at the Goya Awards

Hello again everyone, I hope you are all well and enjoying March. Here at Mediterranean Look we are very excited to see summer approaching. Also, the terraces are now open and we love it even more. We can meet up with friends for a drink and support all these locals who are having a hard time. One thing that makes us happy about March is that this month is very much about strong women.

Apart from celebrating International Women’s Day, the 35th edition of the Goya Awards was held this year in Malaga, the big annual event of Spanish cinema. Unfortunately it had to be different and not as glamorous as usual, but we still saw some interesting things.

There was a parade of strong women, powerful and beautiful inside and out. In addition, the great Ángela Molina received this year’s Goya of honour. As an actress and as a woman, we think she is spectacular.

We always support all these strong women with messages of courage that inspire all generations. Her thank you speech was exemplary and she looked gorgeous in the stunning Italian Armani suit she wore.

Values of beauty and inner strength

We also loved Penelope Cruz who looked radiant and true to her style, she already has so much experience on red carpets that she looked very confident. She wore a black Chanel design with beading on the chest from the stunning Métiers d’Art collection. Another inspiration for all women is Paz Vega who was perhaps the most daring of all with glitter, cleavage and transparencies in a Georges Hobeika dress . It was like a ray of hope for all of us to see them from our homes thinking that very soon we will be able to leave our tracksuits behind and take out our party outfits to enjoy ourselves like this.

These great strong women and all the others are an inspiration to many young women who should know that beauty comes mainly from within. Each one should feel brave and self-confident in her own way. With his Tom Ford dinner jacket he looked like he was straight out of a James Bond movie. Another actor we love is Mario Casas who was also awarded the Goya for best leading actor for “No matarás”. Very well deserved we must say after an intense series of great films.

As we say, all these strong women with so much talent, we love to celebrate them and see them on such special occasions. We have very important values in common and we will always stand up for them. Having a broad, multifaceted view of beauty and boosting every woman’s confidence is essential.
